Purim is a few weeks away! We are excited to announce that we will move forward with the Ohav Sholom COVID compliant Purim Mishloach Manot fundraiser. Some of the changes include simplifying the program by offering reduced rates for our communal Mishloah Manot Program. Additionally, this year, instead of selecting specific recipient names, everyone donating will automatically send to all other participants in the program.
Ohav Sholom has partnered with the famous Russ & Daughters Bakery under the Hashgacha of Rabbi Mehlman. Our Mishloach Manot will include delicious, artisanal boxed hamantashen delivered straight from the bakery. For those that have a doorman (and live between 50th street and 110 street in Manhattan), we will deliver the packages before Purim. For those that do not have a doorman, we will provide a specific time and location for pick up.
Please place your order now for the OS Mishloach Manot fundraiser. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the shul’s charity fund, to help each of us fulfill the mitzvah of Matanot L’Evyonim. Additionally, the program will allow you to send Mishloach Manot to Israeli soldiers overseas.
Your order will be accepted and entered ONLY upon payment. The deadline for all orders is February 19, 2021.
Thank you & Happy Purim!
The OS Purim Committee
Sorry, our Purim fundraiser is over. Donations can still be made online but will not be included in printed materials for the Mishloach Manot.
